The only way you can properly cut the wood for your custom cabinets without using the fence guide on top of the router is with a hand plane but that’s very slow. The next treatment is I plan on following up with a scrapper to get any loose ends or chips of the side of the custom cabinets. I will use both the scraper and the sanding block to clean up the edges of the custom cabinets. The edge I am guiding against the table saw fence is the one that I cut earlier to be parallel with the veneer seems. These spacers for the custom cabinets will keep the panel to the custom cabinets up off the surface of the clamps. And since I have these doors to the custom cabinets trimmed up nicely this whole project will fit together nicely. I see that the pattern will match up beautifully right down the center line of the custom cabinets so we are doing fine. The custom cabinets are centered here with the clamps and we’re probably ready to go to the next step of my custom cabinets. Right in front of me I have the edging and I’ve got also a no-call to back up that edging to distribute the clamp pressure evenly across the custom cabinets so prevent any bends in the wood. The strips on the side of the custom cabinets allow us to move this heavier piece and then they won’t bottom out on the clamps attached to the custom cabinets.
