Whenever a classic cabinet maker is giving a customer advise, he is doing so wanting the project to turn out the best it possibly can. His goal is to leave you a content customer. A cabinet maker from our company has years of experience with custom cabinets. A typical subcontractor might claim to have a long list of knowledge about kitchens but in reality he has done some remolding. Tackling custom cabinets is a hard task that you can't just watch a YouTube video to accomplish. You have to try and make mistakes or have a good teacher there to help direct you in the right direction. For me I not only had a fantastic cabinet maker to help guide me along I went to a nine month comprehensive class to give me proper techniques and fundamentals for top quality custom cabinets. I am glad to have been so fortunate.  The barriers on the side act as a post that gives it a high quality design. I was happy to have worked on the island and the rest of the custom cabinets.
