A good indicator that the custom cabinets are good quality is if they weigh a little more. This means that they are more stable and will last longer. The first thing I need to do is for these door parts of the custom cabinets is I need to run a groove on the inside of all of these two except the panels. It’s just a simple tongue and groove joint for these custom cabinets which is the highest rated method for building custom cabinets and the way I prefer to do it. I am going to achieve this ask using a table saw. I’ve got my table saw set up with my dado head cutter three-eighths inch height. I’ve got the fence set just far enough away to try to get that groove right in the center of the doors of the custom cabinets. I have all of my door parts in one area. That’s just one way I like to stay organized which I like to do when I at a customer’s house because the last thing you need is extra mess and it’s just a little more professional if you ask me and I’ve gotten positive feedback on it. So what I’ll do is I’ll run the style through one way and I’ll turn it and run the same piece back through the saw and that’s how you do all of them so it’s is congruent with the rest of the custom cabinets. That’s how you make the groove for it.
